#19 THE POWER OF TOUCH

Got to get #19 in to keep up with the blog-a-day challenge. So here goes; short and sweet.

Somewhere someone did a survey on how mothers’ identify their new babies. I think it must be when they cannot see them, because the survey used all the other senses.

I know I could identify my sons’ cries above all the other new borns in the hospital nursery.

But it wasn’t the sound of their cries, and it wasn’t the smell.

The most positive identification came from touching the babies. Amazing what the power of touch can tell one.  And what a joy, touching a baby is.

I remember, I remember.
